Mahidol University's College of MusicThailand Philharmonic Orchestra presents the last concert of the year, "Fanfares And Dances", an evening of lush ballet music at Mahidol University's Prince Mahidol Hall, Salaya campus, tomorrow at 7pm and on Saturday at 4pm. Also featured is the world-premiere performance of Narong Prangcharoen's Concerto For Brass Quintet And Orchestra, which pushes the boundaries of this traditional genre into new and exciting directions. Directing the TPO for this mixed holiday programme will be Polish conductor Dariusz Mikulski, who has worked both as a soloist and as a conductor with many orchestras around the world.
